Women’s Health

Mark Leondires, M.D., is considered an authority in the world of family planning. With the use of assisted reproductive technologies, including IVF and IUI, Mark has supported hundreds of women on their journey to motherhood. Through his smart, patient and caring approach, Mark has spent decades working with women to ensure they have access to credible fertility care.

Recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2013, Mark has been a thought leader in the world of fertility and family building. One example of this is years before the standard of care adopted the practice of single embryo transfers, Mark lobbied insurance companies to understand and cover the care of a single embryo transfer with a subsequent frozen embryo transfer. He argued it was medically more responsible with better outcomes.

Additionally, Mark helped create a Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) program to better assist adolescents and women in the community. He understood there was a gap in care between pediatricians and gynecologists and he provided support and resources to help these young women.

Understanding both the physical and emotional difficulties that come with infertility, Mark helped lead his team in creating an Integrated Fertility Wellness program at his practice. Here patients could access services including nutritionists, support groups, yoga, and acupuncture to help optimize health practices before and during pregnancy.

Mark leads by example and is the voice of reason in his own practice and various partnerships. He is up to date on the latest studies and technologies. Foremost, Mark is concerned about lab safety and chain of custody, quality medical care, and excellent outcomes for all of his patients. Always advocating for what is best, Mark treats all of his patients with integrity and without bias.
